Lindy Hop: Charleston

An event every week that begins at 6:45 pm on Monday, repeating until February 26, 2024
The Charleston is the signature step of the Roarin’ 20s and an important component of Lindy Hop. This four-week series introduces dancers to a variety of Charleston vocabulary (including 20s, 30s, hand-to-hand, airplane and more tandem), fun variations, and ways to mix and match the steps with Lindy Hop figures. This progressive series takes place Monday evenings at the Avalon Ballroom. (Registration closes after Week 2).
Dates: February 5, 12, 19, 26
Time: 6:45-7:45 p.m.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with Lindy Hop figures will be helpful.
