Volunteer for The Avalon!

BDC uses The Avalon by making it available to members and others, primarily for dance events. Importantly, our collective dance community, and especially our members, help to run the Avalon, and keep both the interior and exterior in tip-top shape. Join us in maintaining this wonderful shared asset!

Avalon Work Party—Come support The Avalon and the Boulder Dance Coalition

This community building event takes place approximately one Saturday per season, as is practical. The Avalon Work Party is an excellent way to support the local dance infrastructure, make new friends, learn some new skills and feel a sense of pride and ownership in the development of one of Boulder’s most beloved dance venues. There are many types of jobs, as well as great leadership, and you will be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment. Watch for an email announcing the next work party.

Ad hoc volunteering

Below is a short list of jobs that need to get done regularly (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly), though we frequently have other needs during the year.

If you are interested in helping out with these jobs or for future needs, please fill out our Volunteer Survey Form.

If you have any special skills, like plumbing, website design & development, accounting, running a small business, community outreach or ??, let us know at volunteer@boulderdancecoalition.org. We would love to have you join in the support of our dance community!
