Come to this fun dance with a great Zydeco band from Louisiana, a Zydeco dance lesson, costume contest, Mardi Gras beads, Tarot Card and Astrology readings, Face Painting and complimentary King Cake. Purchase some Gumbo to satisfy your appetite and visit the Cash bar to quench your thirst! Proceeds help support the non-profit local community radio station KGNU, and the non-profit Colorado Friends of Cajun and Zydeco Music and Dance. Tickets available through KGNU.org or at the door. Dance To Be Free’s mission is to reduce anxiety and depression for people in prison through the healing power of movement. We fund our non-profit by fundraising, grants, donations, and weekly classes at The Avalon.
Dance with us every Wednesday at 10am & Saturday at 11am in the Tango Room.
The first class is free, then $20.
