Avalon Volunteer Jobs
The Avalon is a community run building. Volunteers contribute to the Avalon through their generous donation of time, helping to maintain facilities and keeping costs down and facility fees low. Join us in making the Avalon a great space to share with the dance community.
Join an Avalon Work Party!
Avalon work parties bring together the dance community in supporting the maintenance of the Avalon ballroom 3-4 times per year for 1-4 hours (or for as much time as you can offer). Jobs vary from picking up trash, organizing equipment, and deep cleaning to simple construction and maintenance. If you are interested in joining a work party, subscribe to our email list and we’ll keep you updated.
Regularly scheduled maintenance
Have an hour or two each month that you can offer? We have several positions of 1-2 hours that are needed monthly. Days and times are flexible according to your schedule. Jobs are simple (like picking up trash, sweeping, cleaning and weeding). Interested? Please email volunteer@boulderdance.org and we can get you set up with a position that fits your schedule.
Committee members
Avalon committees help to organize at the business level the overall operation of the Avalon. Committees include board members, finance, property maintenance, building maintenance, communications, and marketing. Experience is not necessary, though helpful. Your enthusiasm is the most important! Interested in joining a committee? Please email volunteer@boulderdance.org with your interest and we will discuss details and how you can join.
