Colorado Friends of Old Time Music and Dance | Social Dance
Colorado Friends Of Old Time Music And Dance is a non-profit organization that runs nearly 100 community participatory dances per year – such as contra dances – with live music and calling in the Denver and Boulder metro area of Colorado. No prior dance experience is necessary, and almost all of our dances are preceded by a lesson. Community dances are very social by nature – married and unmarried couples, singles accompanied with friends or arriving alone, and anyone from age 9 to 109 who enjoys dancing are welcome. CFOOTMAD Community Contra Dance, first and third Fridays each month. 7:00 p.m. lesson, 7:30-10:30 p.m. dance. $15/general $12/members $19 students. CFOOTMAD events at The Avalon are mask optional and no longer require proof of vaccine or boosters. Vaccines are recommended, but not required.
