Dancing Beyond is a monthly ecstatic dance event that invites you into free-form, self-guided movement. Be prepared to embark on a wave-like musical journey as an active, embodied meditation where the body is a temple and dance is a portal to heal, connect, and celebrate. English Country Dance is a fun, friendly, community form of dance that originated in England during the Renaissance (if not even earlier!). All dances will be taught and will be suitable for first-time dancers. Sliding scale admission of $5 to $15. We’ll offer a few refreshments at 7:30, before the dance start.
