Intro to Charleston

The Charleston is the signature step of the Roarin’ 20s and an important component of Lindy Hop. This four-week series introduces dancers to a variety of partnered Charleston vocabulary (including 20s, 30s, hand-to-hand, airplane and more tandem) and fun variations. This progressive series takes place Monday evenings at the Avalon Ballroom. (Registration closes after Week 2).
Dates: April 28, May 5, 12, 19
Time: 8-9 p.m.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with Lindy Hop figures will be helpful, but is not necessary.
