SUMMARY:Intro to Charleston
DESCRIPTION:The Charleston is the signature step of the Roarin’ 20s and an important component of Lindy Hop. This four-week series introduces dancers to a variety of partnered Charleston vocabulary (including 20s\, 30s\, hand-to-hand\, airplane and more tandem) and fun variations. This progressive series takes place Monday evenings at the Avalon Ballroom. (Registration closes after Week 2). \nDates: April 28\, May 5\, 12\, 19\nTime: 8-9 p.m.\nPrerequisites: Familiarity with Lindy Hop figures will be helpful\, but is not necessary. \nRegister in our Swing Shop! \nStudents: Use discount code STUDYHARD for 20% off.\nDancers who enroll in both the beginner and intermediate courses for the month will receive 25% off their total order. \n*We strive to make our classes as inclusive and accessible as possible.
