Blues Taster: Jukin’

They say the only way to get rid of blues is to sing/dance ’em. Blues is a broad umbrella of musical styles, and as dance follows music, there are many ways to dance the blues. Join us for a three-week taster in December, each week we’ll learn about some of the main styles of dancing the blues: Jukin’, Ballroomin’, and Triplestep.

Jukin’ style dances have been danced to the blues throughout its history: from vintage acoustic blues, to high-energy electric blues, to funky and soulful blues.

Prerequisites: None
Cost: $15 per class or $40 for the entire series
