SUMMARY:Solo Jazz and Shim Sham Variations
DESCRIPTION:The Shim Sham is an iconic solo jazz and tap line dance\, choreographed by black American artists in 1928. It’s now collectively performed at every Lindy Hop social dance worldwide. The choreography is very accessible\, and if you know it\, you can jump in and immediately be part of community\, history\, and good times on the dance floor with your friends! \n  \nBreak your Shim Sham and solo jazz steps in this drop-in class! We’ll quickly review some content from the prior week’s Learn the Shim Sham course\, and then explore more complex Shim Sham variations\, improvisation\, and creativity. We’ll not only learn suggested variations\, but how to create variations of your own!
