Date Night Dance & Relationship Enrichment Series (Teaser Class)

A magical blend of FUSION DANCING and AUTHENTIC RELATING GAMES, this is not your typical dance class. No dance experience is necessary, but seasoned dancers are welcomed.
The dancing we do will be basic Blues/Fusion and focused more on improvisation via attunement and connection than learning standardized patterns, like in many partner dances. My intention is to concentrate more on concepts than steps so that dancers of any style/skill level might learn something that will enhance what they already know about dancing. Also, much of the class will be allotted to relationship enrichment activities.
I designed this series because these kind of practices led me to a whole and beautiful life. My hope is I can pay that forward. I’ve been teaching 20+ styles of partner dance for 10 years and am certified by Dance Vision International. I’m also a trained Authentic Relating facilitator and graduate student in expressive arts therapy. While these sessions are designed to have therapeutic value, *I am not a licensed therapist.
The Teaser Class on October 20th will give you a sneak peak of the format and the content we’ll be covering in the 4-week session. This will be the final offering in Boulder.
