SUMMARY:Charleston I
DESCRIPTION:The Charleston is the signature step of the Roarin’ 20s and an important component of Lindy Hop. This four-week series introduces dancers to a variety of Charleston vocabulary (including 20s\, 30s\, hand-to-hand\, airplane and more tandem)\, fun variations\, and ways to mix and match the steps with Lindy Hop figures. It prepares students for a Charleston II class beginning in November that will build on the vocabulary learned in October. This progressive series takes place Monday evenings at the Avalon Ballroom.
