DESCRIPTION:Put on your shuffliest shoes for the Flatiron Stomp on Saturday\, April 4: It’s a Balboa takeover! Balboa is a Swing Era dance that rose to prominence in Southern California. The style we know and love today is a blend of closed position “Pure Balboa” and the spinnier\, more elastic “Bal Swing.” The 7 p.m. drop-in lesson will offer a beginner’s Balboa crash course—all you need for three hours of social dancing from 8-11 p.m. with DJs Laura Keat and special guest Shana Worel!\nDon’t know Bal?
