DESCRIPTION:Lila Faria and Dillon Arevalo: Artists in Residence June 23-30\, 2025 \nMHB Takeaways Practica – Register HERE\nThis practica will be a unique deep-dive session where Lila and Dillon guide you through concepts\, moments\, and inspiration they took from the Mile High Blues workshops. It’s a chance to revisit material you loved\, unpack anything you didn’t quite have time to process\, and explore it with fresh insight and guidance. \nAfter the Practica\, join us at The Rose’s home for a Cookout (address will be shared separately). \nThis Practica will be tailored for an Intermediate+ Skill Level. If you’re not sure if this workshop is a good fit for your skill level\, please reach out to us at thetriplestep@gmail.com. \nIf you are unable to attend the Practia\, but would still like to get some instructional time with Lila and Dillon during their Residency\, keep reading! \n\nAdditional Offerings \n\nPrivate and Small Group Lessons \nClick to See Available Lesson Times in LONGMONT and in DENVER\nTeaching the Beginner Lesson and Mini Private Lessons at The Triplestep’s Inaugural Dance\, June 30 at Zero Hour Cafe\n\n\nAbout Lila and Dillon\nLila and Dillon have been dancing Blues for a collective 25 years\, and other styles of partner dance for over 35. They both carry education degrees from prestigious universities\, have taught dance as a pair across the West Coast from Washington to California\, and continue their training as active members of the larger global Blues dance community to this day. Together\, they have studied with some of the most prominent blues dance instructors across the U.S. As a teaching pair they focus on intertwining connection\, partnership\, and playfulness with the rich and complicated history of Blues dance. \nIndividually\, they each have experience instructing both locally and nationally. Dillon has taught dance and choreographed performances for high schools\, college campuses\, and dance communities across both coasts in the U.S. Lila has been recognized on a global scale\, judging national-level competitions and teaching internationally in cities like Philadelphia (USA)\, Vancouver (Canada)\, London (UK) and Lisbon (Portugal).
