DESCRIPTION:They say the only way to get rid of blues is to sing/dance ’em. Blues is a broad umbrella of musical styles\, and as dance follows music\, there are many ways to dance the blues. Join us for a three-week taster in December\, each week we’ll learn about some of the main styles of dancing the blues: Jukin’\, Ballroomin’\, and Triplestep. \nFor when the music gets sweet and jazzy\, we’ll explore the ballroomin’ style dances that have been danced to jazzy blues music throughout its history. \nTeachers: Kat and Amos Rose \nDates:\nMonday\, December 2: Jukin’\nMonday\, December 9: Ballroomin’\nMonday\, December 16: Triplestep \nTime: 6:45-7:45 p.m.\nPrerequisites: None\nCost: $15 per class or $40 for the entire series \nClick here to register in the Swing Shop \n*We strive to make our classes as inclusive and accessible as possible.
